ECOPredS had the pleasure of virtually attending the International Symposium on Orcas held in Tarifa, Spain on 16th – 21st February 2025. The symposium was attended by killer whale researchers from around the globe to discuss all aspects of killer whale biology, ecology, and conservation.
Saana presented on method development and first results on the body condition of killer whales in Scotland, while Julia talked about her PhD research investigating predator-prey interactions of killer whales and seals in inshore Shetland.
